And the countdown begins...

On Friday, I was officially accepted into the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival in Cambridge, OH. AND it's in less than two weeks - August 13, 14, and 15. HOLY MOLY.

That means there's a whole lotta stuff going on around here. We set up the new tent canopy over the weekend and figured out how I'm going to hang stuff for "walls". Now, it's time to just keep cranking out work whenever I can!I'm planning to offer:
- License plate boxes
- Birdies on branches
- Birds on eggs
- Greeting cards
- Journals
- Prints
- Paintings
- Chess boards with pieces

And if I get super productive:
- Mixed media poker chip necklaces
- Art journal kits
- Painted muslin stuffies

The hardest part for me to figure out is the pricing. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!!!

  1. oh..i hope you are super productive! haha congratulations on going to the festival!!

  2. Good for YOU, Shelly! Make sure you charge enough - don't undervalue yourself OR your beautiful work!!! Good luck with your inventory!!! Hugs, TErri xoxo

  3. I was in that festival years ago--it's a wonderful festival, and you'll enjoy it, and yes I agree with Terri, don't undervalue your work!

  4. Hi Shelly, succes with all the art-work. Great blog, thanks for sharing

  5. Oh my gosh ~ Go Girl!!!!!!!! What a year so far, yahooooo! 6E Sis, Lisa

  6. when I do farmers markets....old painted shutters (small slat) work wonders for hanging almost anything! and they stand up on there own, I used half ones on tables and large free standing...just throwing it out there- knowing your organizing skills you're 'prolly all set! Good luck and have fun! xo

  7. Your canvasses look great and fresh!
Pricing is difficult. I take into account cost of supplies, my time and what the market will accept as reasonable.
Planning the show and dreaming of the possibilities is always the most fun part for me. Have fun and good luck,
