The Workshops
License to Create
6 hour class
In this class, you will create a unique, fun license plate box that shouts WHIMSY! With the instructor’s help, you will choose a theme, make a sculptural topper piece, create a fabulous license plate box, and embellish to your heart’s content. The only thing left will be for you to decide what kind of treasures to put in your distinctive piece of art!
Game Time
6 hour class
Students will create a chess board with game pieces depicting a theme of their choosing. Students will also create simple checkers for alternate game options.
Book and Box
6 hour class
In this class, you will create your very own fabric covered art journal book and a whimsical, embellished box to put it in. With the instructor’s help, you will select a theme, handcraft a journal, and decorate your special journal box to your heart’s content. If we have time, we’ll even journal in our books a bit too. A day of fun and artsy-ness!
Mixed Media Playtime

In this class, you will create a fun and funky wall art journaling piece using a license plate, plaster cloth, wood, and embellishments. With the instructor’s help, you will choose an inspired theme, construct your piece, and PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!

Birdy on Branch
6 hour class
Ever wonder what to do with those random supplies around the studio? How about turning them into 3-D mixed media piece? Students will learn mixed media techniques to create a fanciful birdy (or even another kind of creature if desired) perched on a branch. Students will learn sculpting, plastering, painting, collaging, and lettering techniques for a day of good old-fashioned 3-D art making.

Don't Be Blue Bouquet
3 hour class
Who could be blue when they see this sweet bouquet? In this class you will create a fanciful bouquet of flowers to give as a sweet gift or to keep for yourself! We’ll wire, plaster, and paint to our hearts content for three hours of 3-D mixed media fun.
Love Your Letters
3 hour class
If you don’t really care for your handwriting or want to find ways to incorporate hand written lettering into your work but don’t quite know how, this class is for you! Using practice sheets provided and all my lettering tips and tricks, you will take your hand lettering to the next level! In this class, we’ll work on creating your own unique handwriting style, and I’ll provide lots of hints on how to add lettering and interest to your art.
